Frequently asked questions

What affiliation does and does not mean.

Does GMS employ Game Masters?

No. GMS-affiliated Game Masters operate independently.

Who sets prices?

The Game Master normally sets their own ticket price and manages payment, taxes, refunds, and player communication.

Does GMS guarantee players or venues?

No. GMS may provide promotion and possible opportunities, but cannot guarantee attendance, revenue, or venue placement.

Is GMS only for D&D?

No. GMS welcomes many tabletop roleplaying systems, genres, campaign lengths, and play styles.

Can I bring an existing game?

Potentially. Public listings should be clear, reliable, and consistent with GMS community standards.
